PostSubject: Owner of the late Viggo!   Thu 20 Mar - 21:34

I purchased a beautiful male cane corso pup from Angela of Rustic Kennels in 2004. To Make a long story short he had his first seizure in April 2005, we got his epilepsy under control with phenobarital for a few months then he started having cluster seizures in the fall of 2005. After 12 major seizures in a 24 hour period in October we had to put him to rest and end his pain and suffering. My heart goes out to everyone that has been affected by the cruelty of this woman and I am sorry for all of our losses. I still cry for the loss of our beautiful boy VIGGO.

Good Morning,
welcome here. If I am right, I think that your Viggo was littermate to my Macko, Tara's Cassie, and Guy's Grizzly.
They were all fabulous dogs but are all deceased today. We know how you feel.
Macko left us too during an episode of cluster seizures, they discovered a very bad heart murmur that night...
I am still very traumatised by the whole Macko story.
Welcome here and feel free to share pictures, we like pictures!
Annie

VIGGO is actually a pup from RHINO and DENALI and my brother had the last living pup from that litter of ( June 2004) and had to put him down a few days ago because of epilepsy and h.d. I am glad you have this site it helps to know we are not alone but on the other hand I wish we were, as there are too many of us and too many pups that suffered.
I sent you an e-mail with all my information and a couple of pictures, I hope you received it I sent it to theriault.a@videotron.ca Do you still use this e-mail address? I would love to put a couple of pics on here but am not sure how to.

Hello Viggo. I am sorry that you had to join us. Please tell your brother how very sorry I am that he too has lost his precious baby. I would love to see pictures or both of my Arden's nephews.

viggo, thank you so much for sharing your story... it's not easy to talk about our loved ones that are gone and every time we get new news of another affected corso my heart breaks all over again. there were supposedly 7 pups in the rhino x denali litter but not all of them are gone. zues is still alive and well... i'll see if i can find his pic and add it to this post. again, thank you for joining the board and sharing your story as heartbreaking as it is. can't wait to see the pictures.

Tara, I am very glad to hear that Viggo's brother ZUES is doing well. Has he not had any health issues? My brothers dogs name was THUNDER and he was put down on St.Patricks day of this year. The vets in Beeton told him that THUNDER was the last one left from that litter, but it is good to hear atleast one survived. I have heard that RHINO is still alive and living in Alliston but you never know. My name is Leigh and I live in Novar North of Hunstville, Ontario. I wish I could bring VIGGO back I spent thousands of $$ on him to try and save him but it was not enough and I miss him so.
I am not sure how to put pictures on here can you help me?? gêné

This is a pic of VIGGO with his monkey, he was 14 months old here. Tara ZUES looks almost exactly like THUNDER. He is very beautiful you are very lucky to still have him.

zues is not mine but i would still be honored to own him. he hasn't had any health issues and was neutered responsibly. i owned cassie, a little formentino female from this litter. you can send me the pics at tmlto@comcast.net and ill get them posted as annie is probably more busy than i am right now. send all you want, i'll get them all up. here's a better look at my girl.

zues as a pup.
