I have two alano espanol's, one called Alonzo and the other is called Necha! I have had them since birth as they were my original alano espanol's pups. I have had a lot of other dogs as I used to breed them but now I only have them two and I am waiting on Necha giving birth! I live in Spain, Madrid in a place called San Cristobal De Los Angeles. I am married and I recently had a son in January called Diego! If there is anything else you would like to know then just send me a message!

Thanks! I like the pup on your picture! I have trained a lot of dogs in the past but I find that the alano espanol is pratically the best breed you can get as it's temperment is excellent and it can cure itself from fatal diseases in 5 days so I thought that they were the best breed I have trained so far and now I have a male and female and awaiting pups from Nicha!

Hello,
What's the name of your kennel? and how do you train your alano's?
also what else can you tell us about the brred in general, tempernet, proper gait, and it's working metality. I have been looking and research this breed for some time now. And hope to own one someday. Do you screen your stock and do you OFA certified them.

thanks for any info you can give us.

I don't really have a name for it, because it was a farm that I have and I just bred the dogs there! As I said I only have two alano espanol's left but I am hoping to start it up again and get more breeds. I just train them with simple commands. Such as Sit, Lie down, Paw, because if you say too many words then the dog gets confused and doesn't do what you would like it to! You should always praise your dog a lot and fuss over it because then your dog understands that it was doing the right thing and it will do it again. It is a lot easier if you start training at an early age because they can be a bit stubborn and they are very large dogs! Also they remember more of it if they are trained as they are pups because it stays with them! I will post a new page about the temperament and its working metality. I can't OFA certify the alano espanol's because they don't do it for them but I do screen stock them! I heard what happened about the pups having epilepsy and the breeder not telling them! I tell the owners what problems to expect, I don't have a website either! But I will make a new post about the temperament of alano espanol's for you!
